About Amy

Welcome! I’m so glad you are here. I’m a queer identifying therapeutic coach. I infuse my training, experience, and background as a psychotherapist with inner child work, psycho-spiritual teachings, and creativity to help you get “unstuck” and move forward with your one wild and precious life.

My coaching work centers around helping people break free from other’s expectations and in turn, live a life that feels authentically theirs. I believe that beginning this work and allowing the time and space necessary for healing is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves.  My approach can be described as warm, collaborative, and down to earth.

I hold a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Indiana University in Applied Health Science and a Master’s of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Loyola Marymount University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor - Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP), licensed by the state of Tennessee. Additionally, I’m Ample + RootED® trained in eating disorder recovery that’s rooted in body liberation. I’ve provided counseling both in school-based and private practice settings.

In my spare time, you can often find me cooking, running, perusing bookstores (and buying way too many books), and writing. I live with my wife and our very energetic standard poodle.
